

Jaret Hodges
Jaret Hodges is an Assistant Professor in Gifted Education at the University of North Texas. His research interests are in policy, equity, and rurality in gifted education.
He also has an interest in promoting open science practices and the use of computer programming in education research. In addition to his role as a professor, Dr. Hodges is also the lead data scientist at Vertaeon where he focuses on applying machine learning techniques to risk modeling. He provides statistical/research consulting, professional development, and leads research teams. Dr. Hodges earned a master’s degree at the University of Houston, doctorate at Purdue University, and was a postdoctoral researcher at Duke University. Dr. Hodges is a hetero White man.
